Welcome to the 90th installment of Punching the Clock- we’re kicking off our March to 100 event with a double-sized strip!
Poor Manager-guy. Looks like he’s on the cusp of losing it all- house, sanity… at least he still has his job… and his cat… for now. I kinda like the cat. Manley draws a damn good cat, and he’s got a personality all his own. Maybe he’ll stick around as a supporting character…
At the very least, he’s here now… and has a name. Welcome to today’s obscure pop culture reference… obscure enough, that I felt like I had to call it out. First to post what I’m referencing gets +100 internets and wins today.
Stay tuned over the next couple of weeks as we wrap up the “Secrets” story arc and build toward the changes that are coming by the 100th strip- new employees, more horrible customers, and a change in the status quo for our plucky heroes.
We’ve been setting up the dominoes for a few weeks now, and they’re all about to fall.

It isn’t THAT obscure. I was just watching the sequel to that movie today. I won’t answer this on two conditions. One, I get to stand in front of Buy Lots and you can’t call the cops. Two, well…we will just go with the first one.
