Sound the trumpets, roll out the red carpet, pull out the fancy china and shave the cat, ’cause Jeff Manley has returned to his regular art duties for Punching the Clock!

I know what you’re all thinking… does he still have it? Can he make me laugh after so very long away from the drawing table? Will he still draw anything for five bucks? To answer your questions:

Yes! Yes! Yes!

We’re picking up where we left off last week- The GM seems to have plans in store for Ryan, but how will this sit with Jeff? Also, there seem to be some onlookers in the background. What does it all mean? Where is this going? When will I get some of that cake?!?

All cake aside, I wanted to take a moment and sincerely thank ALL of our Guest Artists over the past few weeks- Travis Bramble, Andy “Shaggy” Korty, Leslie Gauthier, Bruce Gerlach and Jay Jacot- for really bringing their “A” game to help us out while Jeff was away. It was fun to see everybody’s different take on our characters, and we hope all of you enjoyed their work as well. We honestly couldn’t ask for a better group of artists and friends- we truly are very lucky to work with so many talented people!

Now that Jeff Manley is back at the helm, be prepared for the crazy train to depart the station. There are lots of fun story threads headed your way in the coming weeks- including a special Valentine’s edition of the comic, the return (sort of) of a former employee, a few harsh lessons, robots, those “big” changes that the GM alluded to today, and cake. Lots and lots of cake.

Speaking of cake…
